Allianz Trade in Middle East operates in partnership with Allianz Saudi Fransi, and is pleased to announce to be sponsors of  GTR Saudi Arabia 2023. This event, which will take place on 9th of May 2023, is a crucial platform for businesses in the Middle East to connect and discuss the latest trends and challenges in trade and export finance. Allianz Trade in Middle East's participation in the event is particularly significant given our expertise in Trade Credit Insurance and how it ties to the needs of businesses in Saudi Arabia.

It is an opportunity to showcase how Trade Credit Insurance can be a vital tool to overcome core challenges faced by companies in the Kingdom, such as bad debts, and risks of delayed or non-payment from buyers.

Panel Discussion: Protecting the Food Supply Chain

The event will include several informative panel discussions on important topics related to the trade and export finance industry in Saudi. Costantino Scozzafava, the Chief Commercial Director for the MMEA region in Allianz Trade will partake as a speaker in the panel discussion on Protecting the Food Supply Chain.

The panel discussion will center on the Kingdom's initiatives to enhance food and agricultural yields. The discussion will cover a range of topics, including the Saudi Agriculture Development Fund's (ADF) efforts to allocate funds and establish programs that improve security and output. Additionally, the event will highlight initiatives aimed at fortifying trade channels and promoting opportunities for domestic producers to supply meat and dairy products, thereby ensuring a consistent supply of fresh produce and reducing reliance on imports.
