I am thrilled to address you today as the newly appointed CEO of Allianz Trade in the Middle East. Effective from May 1^st 2024, I am honored to step into this role, succeeding Jean Claus, and I am eager to embark on this journey with you all.

First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and support extended to me thus far. The trust and confidence placed in me by the board and our esteemed partners are deeply appreciated. Together, we have a remarkable opportunity to chart the course for our company's future success.

Allow me to briefly introduce myself. My name is Dario Locatelli, and I bring with me a wealth of experience in the insurance industry, particularly in the realm of surety. My journey with Allianz Trade began in 2014, serving as the Regional Head of Surety. Prior to this, I have had the privilege of holding various management positions in esteemed insurance companies such as Zurich, AXA, and RSA. My academic background includes a degree in Economics & Banks from the University of Brescia, supplemented by a master’s degree in Risk Engineering obtained in 2005.

At Allianz Trade, we firmly believe in the power of collaboration and shared goals. Together, we thrive. It is through our collective efforts and unified vision that we can achieve greater heights. I am committed to fostering an environment of open communication and collaboration, where every partner's voice is heard and valued.
