Daf brings over 30 years of experience in insurance and banking, including senior roles with Aon, Atradius, and HSBC across the UK and Australia. With this appointment he will join the regional team from Allianz Trade in Australia, where he spent three years as a Senior Underwriter. Daf holds a BSc (Hons) in Financial Services from the University of Manchester, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Global Development from Griffith University.
Commenting on the appointment, Chris says: "Daf brings a rare combination of underwriting, broking and banking experience to this role, built over three decades in the industry. He is highly qualified, well respected in the market, and has delivered strong results consistently for our Surety business in Australia. This newly created key role is not only about taking that success regional, but also reinforcing our ambitions and growth opportunities in the Surety business. I am confident he will make an immediate impact across Asia Pacific."
Daf remarks: "I could not be happier to take this on. The role spans two continents, and the Surety opportunity across that footprint is still largely in front of us.
