Paris, February 22nd, 2022 – Euler Hermes, the world leader in trade credit insurance, announces a change in its leadership team. Jennifer Baert, previously Global Head of Credit Risk Assessment of Euler Hermes Group, is appointed Group General Counsel (Secrétaire Générale) of Euler Hermes Group as of March 2022.
She graduated from King’s College London with a first-class law degree and from the Universities of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris Panthéon-Assas with a Master’s degree in Business & Tax law. Jennifer Baert (38) was admitted to the Paris bar in 2006 and is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales since 2008. She worked for 7 years at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in London and Paris. She joined Euler Hermes in 2013 as Head of Legal of Euler Hermes SA, leading the restructuring of the Group. In 2015, she was appointed Global Head of Claims and Collection of Euler Hermes Group. She was then appointed, in 2017, Global Head of Credit Risk Assessment of Euler Hermes Group.
